For designers
Your portfolio, live in minutes — under your own domain.
Designers shouldn’t need a deploy pipeline to put a portfolio online. Nippy hosts the static files design tools already export: drag the exported folder onto nippy.host — an HTML site from a site builder, a hand-coded page, or simply a folder of project images and case-study PDFs — pick an address like folio.nippy.site, and the work is live.
A folder of images becomes a browsable gallery with a lightbox; an HTML export is served exactly as built. On paid plans the portfolio can run under a personal domain such as work.yourname.com — one CNAME record at the registrar, and the HTTPS certificate is issued automatically.
Mockups and drafts can be shared the same way, with an optional password so only the client sees work in progress. Updates are drag-and-drop: replace the files, publish in one click, and the link everyone already has shows the new version — small text tweaks can even be made straight in the browser without re-exporting. The free plan covers one live site with 25 MB of space, and cookie-free visitor stats on paid plans show whether the studio that asked for the portfolio actually opened it.
folio.nippy.site
How it works
Three steps, no setup.
- 1
Export from your tool
Any static export works — HTML, CSS and JavaScript from your site builder, or just a folder of project shots and case-study PDFs.
- 2
Drag it onto Nippy
Drop the folder on nippy.host and pick an address like folio.nippy.site. HTML is served as a site; a folder of images becomes a gallery.
- 3
Share or connect a domain
Send the link as-is, or connect your own domain on a paid plan — one CNAME record, and HTTPS is automatic.
Why Nippy
What you get, out of the box.
Static exports, served as built
HTML, CSS, JavaScript and assets are hosted exactly as exported — no build step, no config files, no surprises.
Your name on the URL
Connect work.yourname.com on any paid plan; certificates and renewals are handled for you.
Private client previews
Password-protect a draft so only the client can open it — and remove the password when the work goes public.
Update without re-deploying
Drop in new files or edit text right in the browser, then publish the changes in one click. The URL never changes.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Can I host a site exported from my design tool?
Yes — any tool that exports static files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images) works. Upload the export folder and the site is served exactly as built. Server-side code such as PHP or a database isn’t supported.
Can I use my own domain?
On any paid plan, yes. Add one CNAME record where the domain is registered and the HTTPS certificate is issued automatically — the domain itself stays with your current provider.
Can clients preview unfinished work privately?
Yes — on paid plans a site can be password-protected, so visitors must enter the password before anything is shown. Share the password with the client, and drop the protection when the project ships.
How do I update the portfolio?
Drag new files onto the site’s Files tab and publish in one click — the address stays the same. Text files can also be edited directly in the browser, so a typo fix doesn’t need a re-export.
What does the free plan include?
One live site, 25 MB of space, and a folio.nippy.site address. Free sites show a small Nippy banner — paid plans remove it and add password protection, custom domains, and visitor stats.
