What does Issuu’s free plan actually allow now?
As of June 2026: a maximum of five published documents, each up to 50 MB and ten pages, with Issuu branding that can’t be removed — enforced on all free accounts since May 2025. Older documents beyond five become unavailable to readers.
Can I host my menu PDF on Nippy without any branding on it?
The PDF itself is served untouched — no watermark, no viewer chrome. On the free plan the site shows a small Nippy banner; paid plans remove it.
Does Nippy do the page-flip effect?
No — PDFs open natively in the browser, which is faster and cleaner but not animated. If a flipbook is specifically what you want, a flipbook tool is the right category.
What happens to long documents?
Nippy has no page-count limit — a 40-page catalogue is just a file (within your plan’s storage). Issuu’s free tier caps documents at ten pages.
Can readers download the original?
On Nippy, yes by default — the exact file you uploaded — and downloads can be switched off per site. On Issuu, download availability depends on plan and publication settings.
