Get your first site online

Putting a site online with Nippy takes one drag and one click. Drop a folder — or a single file — onto the upload area at nippy.host, choose an address like your-name.nippy.site, and the upload starts immediately. What happens next depends on what was dropped: website files are hosted as a website, a folder of photos becomes a browsable gallery, and any other files get a tidy download page. First-time uploaders are asked for an email address; clicking the link that arrives publishes the site, and that email becomes a passwordless account — signing in later is always by email link, never a password.
Anyone already signed in can skip all of that: the dashboard’s “Add a site” button publishes immediately, with no email step. The free plan covers one live site with 25 MB of space and a small banner; the site stays online until it is paused or deleted, with no expiry timer. Updating later is the same gesture — drop the new files on the site and publish in one click.

Drop your files

Pick your address
Choose the your-name part of your-name.nippy.site. This is the link you’ll share — it can also become your own domain later, on a paid plan.

Confirm your email
First time here, you’ll be asked for an email address. Click the link we send and the site publishes. No password is ever created — sign-in stays by email link.

Already signed in? Skip the email
From your dashboard, “Add a site” publishes immediately. Either way, the site stays online until you pause or delete it.
Common questions
What can I upload?
Websites, photos, PDFs, videos, zips — almost anything. A small list of risky file types (like programs) is blocked, and the free plan covers up to 25 MB.
Why do I have to click an email link?
The first publish confirms you control the email address — that address becomes your account. Nippy is passwordless: there is nothing to set or remember, and every later sign-in is the same one-click email link.
How do I update the site afterwards?
Drop new files anywhere on the site’s Files tab to stage them, then publish in one click. The address never changes, so links you’ve shared keep working.
Does my site expire?
No. There is no expiry timer — sites only come offline if you pause or delete them, or if an account stays over its plan limits.
