Understand site analytics

Nippy’s site analytics answer the questions owners actually ask — is anyone visiting, how many, from where — without tracking the visitors. Turn analytics on for a site and its Analytics tab fills in: page views, unique visitors, where traffic came from, which countries, and a live count of who is on the site right now. None of it uses cookies.
Visitors are counted with an anonymous identifier that rotates every day, so nobody can be followed across days or across sites, and there is nothing for a consent banner to ask about — the page stays banner-free for visitors. Known bots and crawlers are filtered out, so the numbers reflect people.
Analytics is included on paid plans and switched per site, so a public portfolio can be measured while a private file drop is not. The numbers live in the same dashboard as everything else: there is no third-party analytics account to set up, no script to add by hand, and nothing for visitors to notice.
Step by step

Turn analytics on for the site
Open the site in your dashboard and switch on analytics from its Analytics tab. It’s per site — measure the sites you want, leave the rest unmeasured.

Share your site as usual
Nothing changes for visitors: no cookies are set and no consent banner appears. Counting happens with a daily-rotating anonymous identifier.

Read the dashboard
Views, unique visitors, traffic sources, countries, and a realtime view of who’s on the site right now — with known bots filtered out.
Common questions
Do my visitors need a cookie consent banner?
No. The analytics are cookieless — visitors are counted with an anonymous identifier that rotates daily, so there is nothing a consent banner would cover.
Can I identify individual visitors?
No — and that’s the point. Counts are aggregate; the daily-rotating identifier can’t follow a person across days or across sites.
Are bots and crawlers counted?
Known bots are filtered out, so views and visitor counts reflect people.
Which plans include analytics?
Paid plans. It’s switched per site, so you can measure a public site while leaving a private one unmeasured.
